 Abstract:  Pedro Front was a Franciscan missionary and chaplain of the Anza Expedition who left Horcasitas, Sonora, Sept. 29, 1775, and resulted in the founding of San Francisco the following March. This collection includes holograph record of three marriages performed by Father Pedro Font at Mission San Xavier del Bac on October 26, 1775, while chaplain of the expedition under the command of Juan Bautista de Anza.
