This story is based on a tape recording of Frank Whiting, Sr.'s recollections in 1964. Bound typescript relates story of the Charles Whiting family and its descendants; chiefly concerning their experiences as Mormon pioneers helping to establish colonies in Chihuahua, Mexico, between 1885 and 1908. The family history information extends from 1876 to 1955, but later years are covered very briefly.
