Historical NoteDr. John C. Graffin was born in 1883. In the early 1900s he married Edna Lamb. He served in World War I as Captain. Before and after the war, he worked as the Reservation physician for the Navajo Tribe in Shiprock, New Mexico, until his death from typhoid pneumonia in 1921.
