Edward B. Perrin (1838-1932) was born in Alabama. He was a physician and worked as such during the Civil War. However, after the war, he moved to California, where most of his subsequent entrepreneurial activities took place. Perrin also took some of his entrepreneurial endevors to Ariaona. He acquired lands, sheep, cattle, and mining interests in Arizona, where he owned about 400,000 acres.
