Archaeological data recovery and monitoring, ethnographic research, site condition assesments. assisting FC with public outreach, and assuring the protection of archaeological sites (and one in-use historic structure) not subject to disturbance by the PTF throughout the entire 1,342-acre FC property.
The Rosson House Collection consists of correspondence, reports and printed matter extending from 1892-1978. The bulk of the collection concerns efforts to complete restoration of this historic structure in downtown Phoenix from 1973-1976.

The Woodward Collection contains the historic
preservation work of James Woodward for close to forty years, from the mid-1970s to
the turn of the century. The collection contains notes, blueprints, correspondence,
and photos of restoration work from the various projects Woodward undertook
throughout his career.

Archaeological testing was conducted to determine the
nature and extent of subsurface cultural remains at AZ U:15:530(ASM), a large
prehistoric and historic artifact scatter located on the western edge of Florence,
Arizona. The purpose of the testing was to determine if subsurface cultural features
were present and would be impacted by a possible housing development.
This collection houses reports and research compiled by Douglas E. Kupel during his historic preservation work. This collection has not been processed in full and can be viewed only by appointment. Contact Archives and Special Collections for more information.

Consists of the professional papers of Emil Walter Haury (1904 – 1992), prominent archaeologist, instructor, and advocate for protection of antiquities and the environment. Haury was best known for his influential work on the prehistory of the American Southwest, especially Hohokam culture.
