The BER records housed at Arizona State Museum includes
documents from the first 30 years of BER operation (1952-1982). The collection
includes information on most tribes and reservations in Arizona, with particular
emphasis on the Akimel O'Odham and Tohono O'Odham. The collection also contains
documentation of research on border communities, Mexico, and tribes outside Arizona.
Typescript portion of reminiscent diary written about 1910, concerning his U.S.
Army service in Prescott and Yuma, Arizona; accompanied by letters from Lt. John
McEwen Hyde, concerning the Chemehuevi Indians on the Colorado River Indian Reservation in 1880.
