There are also news clippings and correspondence about the Morning Star Press, later called the Rampart Press, begun in 1956.

 Abstract:  Chax Press is a small, Tucson based publishing house founded in 1984. Since opening they have published hundreds of books by creative, and innovative poets. They are known for their unique style of books that include both soft-bound offset books as well as hand-printed limited editions, combining both complex visual dynamics and more various book structures throughout all of their letterpress books. This collection contains business materials, book development materials, published manuscripts, and illustrative plates and blocks used by the press, as well as correspondence with authors.

 Abstract:  This collection includes over 750 of Holme's original drawings and etchings, 142 reproductions, 134 original drawings by students and associates, and all nine Bandar Log Press books; as well as correspondence, photographs, news clippings, and articles relating to the School of Illustration and the Bandar Log Press. In addition to Holme, authors of the Bandar Log Press books are Charles Dryden, William Robinson, Kirke La Shelle, and George Ade. Holme's drawings are illustrations for news stories, including coverage of the 1897 Luetgert trial and the 1893 World Columbian Exposition; drawings of people, theatrical performances, "life and times" scenes of the 1890s; political events and politicians, including coverage of the 1896 Democratic presidential convention, and political cartoons.

 Abstract:  Black Sparrow Press was a small independent publishing house focused on avant-garde literature. Produced by John and Barbara Martin, with the help of typographer and printer Graham Mackintosh, the Press was responsible for drawing attention to Charles Bukowski and his literary work. Each published title includes correspondence from authors, layout matter and artwork, ephemera, photographs, manuscripts, proofs, and first editions. Black Sparrow Press published a number of American and English authors including Diane Wakoski, Joyce Carol Oates, Robert Creeley, Charles Olson, John Fante, Gerard Malanga, Wanda Coleman, and acquired publication rights for Wyndham Lewis and D. H. Lawrence.
