 Abstract:  Jesuit missionary, Glandorff was assigned to the Missions of La Purísima Concepción de Tomóchic in Chihuahua, Mexico from 1722 until his death in 1763. Photocopy of chiefly transcribed, typescript letters in Spanish. Also includes photocopy of one holograph letter in Spanish and one letter with English translation.

 Abstract:  Holograph manuscript, on parchment, of "Articles of Agreement" drawn up in London, August 25, 1869, by which Charles D. Poston, as attorney for the Arizona Mining Company, transferred to Roswell Sabine Ripley of London, for the price of 100,000 pounds sterling, all the real and movable property and mineral rights pertaining to the Arivaca Ranch and the Heintzelman (or Cerro Colorado) Mine. Inserted is an affidavit signed by the Mayor of London and the U.S. Consul-General at London acknowledging the validity of the agreement.

 Abstract:  Typescript about the archaeology of early native peoples in the southwest region of Texas and across the border into Coahuila, Mexico. Martin describes a culture, also referred to as Toboso, that he has named the Big Bend Basket-Makers, because of similarities with the Basket Makers of Arizona and New Mexico. He discusses linguistic groups and migrations, as well as diagnostic traits related to skull shape, textiles, baskets, cloud-blowers, and projectile points. Photographs of a map and projectile points are attached.

Ghost Dance Messiah: the Jack Wilson Story is about the Paiute prophet Wovoka, who originated a Ghost dance phenomenon of the late 1880s. The other three drafts concern Mormon life and history.
