 Abstract:  Typescript original drafts and revisions with holograph corrections; accompanied by correspondence, notes, photographs, contemporary newspaper accounts, and extensive related research material used in the book, including many notes by Rosemary Taylor. Photographs, documents, and maps are photocopies of original materials used in Reavis' fraudulent land grant claim. Newspapers accounts, 1873-1896, are typescripts and photocopies from original reports related to the claim.

Includes minutes and letters of the United Order of Joseph City; and letters and extracts of news stories regarding the Little Colorado River Stake. Journals, diaries, and autobiographical sketches of Mormon pioneers in Arizona are present for William C. Allen, John A. Blythe, James S. Brown, Daniel H. McAllister, Joseph H. Richards, Andrew S. Rogers, William H. Solomon, Brigham Stowell, John W. Tate, and the McLaws, Bradshaw, and Owens families.
