Arizona Queer Archives (AQA), a community focused archive through the Institute for LGBT

The collection also includes photographic materials which document the production of his various travelogue films in locations such as India, Japan, Austria, and Mexico as well as images and negatives of Arizona, Tucson, and the United States. Other materials represented in the collection include promotional materials for films, scrapbooks, and artifacts such as samurai swords and traditional Japanese Ceremonial Clothing. Barker's anthropological research into folk drama and ritual, the social functions of
language, the Pachuco language of Hispanic youths, and Yaqui Indian culture and customs. A
1964 gift to the Southwest Folklore Archives from George C. Barker, Sr. Deaccessioned from
the collection in 1993 were approximately 0.2 feet of duplicates and items of a personal
nature. In 1996 two 11 x 14 black-and-white photographs by Alfred A. Cohn were transferred
to the L. Marguerite Collier Collection, Southwest Folklore Center Manuscripts Collection MS
611. This collection is part of the Southwest Folklore Center collection. The Southwest
Folklore Center was founded in 1979 after the dissolution of the University of Arizona
Folklore Committee and collected information about folk communities, arts, music, and other
humanities-related materials. This collection was previously SWF 004. The materials were

School. This collection was a 1977 gift to the Southwest Folklore Archives from Mrs.
Betty Sagerstrom. This collection is part of the Southwest Folklore Center
collection. The Southwest Folklore Center was founded in 1979 after the dissolution
of the University of Arizona Folklore Committee and collected information about folk

Marshall. The bulk of the material consists of her personal correspondence and
memorabilia, property records, official documents and correspondence relating to the
Marshall Charitable Foundation, which they founded in 1930, and documents relating to
Tom's death and Louise's trial for his murder in 1931. The collection also includes a
large number of photographs and negatives, including some glass-plate negatives, taken
by Tom Marshall of the University of Arizona and the city of Tucson in the early years
of the 20th century as well as photographs of Louise, Tom, and family and
