Collection survey at multiple sites, as well as testing and data recovery performed at the Bailey Ruin, Bryant Ranch, Cothrun’s Kiva, Pottery Hill, Hough’s Great Kiva, AZ P:16:160, Hall Point, Agave Field House, and Cline Point sites by the University of Arizona Archaeological Field School between 1993 and 2004 along the Mogollon Rim around Silver Creek in Western Arizona.
Documentation of artifacts recovered during
archaeological testing of four sites on the former Golder Ranch parcel. Work
occurred prior to residential development.
Documentation of and artifacts recoverd during testing, data recoverty, and monitoring at sites along the Wheatfileds section of State Route 88, Gila County, Arizona. Sections of the project crossed the Globe Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest.
This project is a two-phase data recovery program at nine
prehistoric sites and segments of a historical-period road along a 3.8 mile segment
of SR 188 near Jakes Corner. The project area is located in western Gila County,
mostly within the administrative boundaries of the Tonto National Forest. A small
portion of one archaeological site extends onto private property.

Abstract:
Artifacts and associated documents from excavations at the
Badger Hole Site (AZ AA:12:40[ASM]). This accession combined two phases: Thornydale
Road Widening D.R. and Badger Hole Data Recovery.
Artifacts and documentation resulting from data Recovery at
two sites impacted by road improvement work at the juncture of State Route 79 and
Cactus Forest Road.
Archaeological testing was conducted to determine the
nature and extent of subsurface cultural remains at AZ U:15:530(ASM), a large
prehistoric and historic artifact scatter located on the western edge of Florence,
Arizona. The purpose of the testing was to determine if subsurface cultural features
were present and would be impacted by a possible housing development.

Documentation of An Archaeological Survey of 6800 Acres On The Fort Huachuca Military Reservation. Work Occurred In Order To Evaluate Proposed Training Areas. Sixty-Seven Sites Were Recorded, and Two Previously Known Sites Were Reassessed.
Surface collections and excavations of a surface structure and associated features as part of a research project to investigate household organization and land use during the Surface Structure period (AD 1050-1150) in the San Simon Valley. Done in 24 5x5m grid units. Two surface processing areas were mapped and collected. Fourteen units were excavated at the site, locating four features. Feature 1 was an ephemeral surface structure, Feature 2 was a shallow ash deposit located east of the structure, Feature 3 was a rock cluster that was possibly a deflated hearth, and Feature 4 was a shallow midden located southeast of the structure. Data from the project indicate that this site represents a short-term occupation that may have been used for seasonal gathering activities in the bajada..

Multiple archaeological investigations have been undertaken at these sites (14 as of
the time of this project) in conjunction with various construction projects related
to AFP 44.
An intensive data recovery operation at the Silverbell-Coachline site in Marana Arizona. The Silverbell-Coachline site is a large Hohokam Pioneer and Colonial period village and cemetary located on the Tucson Mountains pediment above the Santa Cruz river.
