different institutions and held various positions at colleges, universities, and other
history-focused institutions. He served as an expert witness on key pieces of water
rights legislation in the state of Arizona. He researched several prominent Arizonan
politicians including Barry Goldwater, Dennis DeConcini, and Evan Mecham. He also did
several research projects surrounding Wade Church, Jim Chilton, the New Mexico Bar
Association, and John R. Norton III, amongst others. A large portion of his research
files are dedicated to water politics of Arizona including, but not limited to ANSAC,
the CAP, the Colorado River Controversy, Native American/indigenous water rights, the

Committee, Chairman of the Joint Budget Committee, and Chairman of the Natural Resources Committee. This collection
includes newspaper articles, genealogical information, Senator Tenney’s scrapbooks of news clippings from 1965, the
