 Abstract:  A bound volume of 163 pages, all single sheets, comprising field notes from Earl Morris's summer 1931 excavations in the Prayer Rock District of northeastern Arizona. The volume documents three areas: Broken Flute Cave, Prayer Rock Cove, and Black Horse Canyon. Broken Flute Cave notes cover rooms 1-16, burials, and cists 33-65, including a cross section through the Great Kiva Circle. Prayer Rock Cove notes cover Caves I-VI and Ram's Horn Cave, with rooms, masonry structures, floors, and cists documented for each. Black Horse Canyon notes cover Caves VII and VIII. Table of contents and pagination were added by J. Barr, Arizona State Museum Library, July 15, 1968.

 Abstract:  A bound volume of 78 pages comprising catalogues of archaeological specimens recovered from sites in the Prayer Rock District of northeastern Arizona. The volume is organized in two sections: a catalogue of specimens by provenience (covering Broken Flute Cave, Obelisk Cave, Caves I-XII and additional named sites in the Prayer Rock area, and various open sites) and a catalogue of specimens by material and provenience (covering wood, wool, bone, stone, pottery, vegetable, baskets and basket splints, sandals, human hair, feather, hide, pigments, horn, skeletons, shell, reed, cordage, cord bags, and miscellaneous objects). Pages 38 to 78 contain writing on the reverse side that is the draft of a paper prepared for the Carnegie Institution and bears no relation to the catalogue; the paper was reused for the catalogue. Table of contents and pagination were added by J. Barr, Arizona State Museum Library, July 15, 1968.

 Abstract:  A bound volume of 219 pages written on re-used paper, comprising pottery notes from sites in the Prayer Rock District of northeastern Arizona. Notes are organized by site and by room or context within each site. Sites covered include Broken Flute Cave (Rooms 6-14), Obelisk Cave, Pocket Cave, Cave I (Rooms 1-3), Cave II (Rooms 1-4), Cave IV, Cave VI, Cave VII, Cave VIII, Cave IX, Cave X, Cave XI, Cave XII, and Open Sites. The material contents of the sites are listed by catalogue number (see A-0126) and by provenience. Pages 21 and 62 are out of sequence: page 21 contains a description of pottery from Room 9, Broken Flute Cave, and page 62 contains a description of pottery from Cave VIII. The material on the reverse of the pages consists of a draft for a site report and miscellaneous notes. Table of contents and pagination were added by J. Barr, Arizona State Museum Library, July 16, 1968.

 Abstract:  Archives folder A-130 contains a photograph catalogue and photographs taken by archaeologist Earl H. Morris documenting the excavation of Broken Flute Cave, a Basketmaker III site located in the Prayer Rock District of northeastern Arizona. The catalogue lists 142 numbered photographs depicting rooms, cists, burials, kiva features, wall construction, and stratigraphic deposits, as well as a supplementary list of miniature prints from the Red Rock Photo Catalog. Negatives are on file at Arizona State Museum; additional photographs are in archives folder A-131.

 Abstract:  Archives folder A-131 contains photograph catalogues and photographs from Earl H. Morris's archaeological work in the Prayer Rock District of northeastern Arizona. Although the cover sheet identifies the folder as "Photographs of Atahonez," the contents document multiple sites in the region. The folder includes: a photograph catalogue (E series, Nos. E-1 through E-17) covering Atahonez, Broken Flute Cave, Pocket Cave, and the Red Wash drainage area; a photograph catalogue with captions by Joe Ben Wheat (1956-57) covering the W series (Nos. W-1 through W-51) for Pocket Cave, Cave 1, Cave 2, Cave 3, and Broken Flute Cave; a duplicate copy of the E-series catalogue; a Red Rock Photo Catalog part 3 listing miniature prints E-18 through E-23; and a document identifying photographs of Johnson's Maps of the Red Rock District covering Broken Flute Cave, Caves 1 and 2, Pocket Cave, and a Reconstructed Pithouse (Nos. 1-16).
