Title:  William G. Bass Collection, 1890-1976. ead
 Date(s):  1890-1976.
Abstract:  The collection provides insights into Bill Bass's many-faceted life. The most important images are those that document the Bass Family at the Grand Canyon and in Wickenburg. In addition, there are several fine early images of the trail to Rainbow Bridge from Navajo Mountain (most taken by the El Tovar Studio), the Octave and Congress mines, and the Hassayampa River in flood. While the bulk of the images are not credited, many were probably taken by Bass or his family.

 Date(s):  1885-1982.
Abstract:  The Lauzon family collection consists of a variety of historic documents and photographs (see series 10 for a description of the photograph component) that describe and depict the family's early life in northern Arizona, primarily at the Grand Canyon, from the early 1900s into the 1980s. The papers were created primarily by Hubert "Bert" Lauzon. They describe his work as rancher, miner, tourist guide, caretaker for the Bright Angel Trail and Grand Canyon National Park Ranger. The collection includes material about the Lauzon Family and their continued interest in mining and ranching after Bert's death in 1951. This later material was created by Bert's son, Hubert F.
