 Abstract:  This collection focuses on two distinct periods in Burch's career: his chairmanship of the Republican National Committee (1964-1965) during the 1964 presidential campaign and its immediate aftermath and his chairmanship of the U. S. Federal Communications Commission (1969-1973). It is arranged in three series: Series I: Republican National Committee; Series II: 1964 Presidential Campaign; and Series III: Federal Communications Commission.

 Abstract:  The Bruce Babbitt Collection contains several articles written after the presidential campaign, during 1989-1990. There are also papers generated during and after Babbitt's term as Attorney General of Arizona, 1974-1978. Included in the Presidential Campaign Subgroup are financial records, daily schedules, press and news articles from Arizona and the nation, and position papers. Subgroup Three contains press releases for 1974, articles written in 1974 during Babbitt's term as Attorney General of Arizona, and news and articles written from 1974 to 1981.  Abstract:  The John J. Rhodes Papers consist of correspondence, reports, financial and travel records, and printed matter documenting Rhodes' Congressional career from 1953 to 1983. Significant portions of the collection show the Central Arizona Project, issues regarding Native Americans, campaign activities, legislation that Rhodes sponsored, water, energy policy, Watergate, and Barry Goldwater's presidential campaign. The collection has been divided into eighteen series. The first fifteen series house materials created in the Congress held between 1953 and 1983. The final three series are Series XVI: Campaign Files, Series XVII: Central Arizona Project, and Series XVIII: Miscellaneous Files.
