 Abstract:  The Philip Decker Collection consists of 170 black and white photographs documenting the lives and working conditions of Mexican farmworkers who enter the United States and work illegally. The pictures were taken in 1985. Supporting these photographs are numerous periodicals that have published either Decker's images or articles relating to them. These publications date from 1985 to 1987.

Since the press' inception, Barbara Peters has served as the Editor-in-Chief and she is the owner of the Poisoned Pen Bookstore. The Poisoned Pen Press collection consist of manuscripts, advanced reader copies, cover designs, signed published books, and other materials relating to the book development process.

 Abstract:  This collection contains newspaper issues from the Tucson Weekly Observer and the Western Express from 1983 to 2000. Both of these publications are queer newspapers. They document issues and events in Tucson, the Southwest, and nationally related to the LGBTQ community. Many of the articles included focus on HIV/AIDS and the birth of Pride celebrations. This collection is part of the Arizona Queer Archives (AQA), a community focused archive through the Institute for LGBT Studies at the University of Arizona. It was transferred to Special Collections in 2020.
