| | Abstract: | A bound volume of 440 pages comprising the field and laboratory reports of archaeological work conducted by Malcolm F. Farmer in the Old Navaho (Navajo) country during the summer of 1938. The report is organized in five sections covering a preliminary field report, ethnographic notes, a catalogue of sites surveyed, excavation notes with site catalogues and tree-ring data for three excavated sites (Largo #1, Upper Blanco #1, and Upper Largo #1), and a pottery analysis covering plain, decorated, and intrusive wares.
