The collection also features personal papers that include confidential correspondence regarding the Labor movement in Canada. Arizona mining materials include information about the Miami Copper Company, Bagdad Mines and the San Manuel Mines.

They discovered and named several new species of grasses and concluded their research work at the University of Arizona Herbarium. Also included are publications, photographic materials, and scrapbooks focused on botanical subject matters.
