 Abstract:  The Fred Harvey Company Records contain a variety of archival materials pertaining to the operation of one of America's largest restaurant and resort companies. Records consist of materials from the Fred Harvey Indian Department, Grand Canyon operations, Harvey Girls, and the company public relations department. Document types include menus, brochures, statistical data, Grand Canyon Justice of the Peace and Department of Transportation records, ledgers, guest registers, press releases, articles, correspondence, art work and architectural blueprints, renderings and drawings. The collection also contains approximately 6,000 photographic images, 9 moving images, and 6 oral history interviews.
