            Washington, D.C. businessman. This collection is comprised of correspondence, documents,
            deeds, diaries/ledgers and photographs. The bulk of the material relates to Sanford's
            Arizona ranch as well as his varied business interests in both Tucson and Washington,
            D.C. The collection also contains legal records relating to the San Jose de Sonoita land
            grant.
