 Abstract:  Buffalo Bill, 1846-1917, was an American scout and showman. William Frederick Cody, known as Buffalo Bill, operated Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show and other business ventures from 1883 on. This collection includes correspondence, photographs, financial records, and legal papers relating to operations at the Campo Bonito Mine. Chiefly correspondence between Cody and Ernest J. Ewing concerning mine operations.
