 Abstract:  The Dr. Gregory S. Rodriguez oral history project for trichloroethylene (TCE) collection includes student interviews with community members and other notable figures who discussed or were affected by the trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination in Tucson water. The contamination occurred in the 1980s on the southside of Tucson and residents were drinking contaminated drinking water, which was laced with TCE, a solvent best known for cleaning airplanes. Additional research files on TCE are also included in the collection.

 Abstract:  A retired, United Methodist pastor, Stanley C. Brown and his wife, Ruth, lived in several areas in Arizona. This collection is an accumulation of his work as a researcher, author, historian, teacher, and lecturer. It also includes his collection of photographs from research trips and other sources. Most of the papers are copies of his writings whether a lecture, a presentation, a column or a book. There are many transcripts of oral histories included in the collection, mostly from the Rim country and central Arizona. The collection also includes indexes of writings, oral histories, etc.

 Abstract:  The University of Arizona Campus Landscape oral history audio cassettes measure 1 linear foot and consist of 13 audio cassettes containing interviews with ten individuals who were responsible for, or lent perspective to, natural resource decisions that influenced the University of Arizona's campus landscape development over a century. Envisioned by Elizabeth Davison, Founding Director of the UA Campus Arboretum, and recorded by students from the Environmental Decision Making in Applied Anthropology course in 2003, topics covered in the oral histories include descriptions of how the campus landscape once appeared, how it was maintained, a campus plant walk, and the origin of some plant types now found on campus. The collection includes edited, revised and final, formatted transcripts of each oral history, project notes, and articles related to the campus landscape.

 Abstract:  Abraham (Abe) Chanin was an author, historian, former publisher of the Arizona Jewish Post, sports editor at the Arizona Daily Star, and professor at the University of Arizona School of Journalism from 1976-1988. From 1988 to 1994, Chanin was director of the Bloom Southwest Jewish Archive at the University of Arizona. This collection contains interviews created by Abraham Chanin dating 1974-1977 with prominent Arizona settlers, politicians, University of Arizona faculty, and members of Native American communities on 30 audio cassettes.

Renee Ross, project manager of the Mammoth Miners Memorial Oral History Project interviews former miners on topics such as folklore, women in mining, pay, safety, administration, strikes and others.
