 Abstract:  The collection holds the working materials of Jimmy Starr, such as personal and correspondence files; his writings, including typescripts, notebooks and published columns; research files which include biographical data, individual files of movie stars consisting of newspaper and periodical clippings, miscellany and subject files, and film studio ephemera. Although the material in the collection ranges from 1921 to 1989, the bulk of the holdings span the years 1923 to 1975. In addition, there are film scripts by Starr and others; photographs of movie stars, movie sets and movie stills; and as well as various audio-visual materials.

 Abstract:  The Ken Wolfgang collection is comprised of materials created by Ken Wolfgang in the production of travelogue and corporate films produced by his film company, Kensharo Productions which was based in Sonoita, Arizona. The Collection is comprised of prints and camera negatives of completed films, such as The Japanese Sword as the Soul of the Samurai and Austrian Reflections, as well as excess and outtake footage shot on various formats. The collection also includes photographic materials which document the production of his various travelogue films in locations such as India, Japan, Austria, and Mexico as well as images and negatives of Arizona, Tucson, and the United States. Other materials represented in the collection include promotional materials for films, scrapbooks, and artifacts such as samurai swords and traditional Japanese Ceremonial Clothing. The collection also contains materials from the production of Tucson Then and Now, an unpublished manuscript that detailed the history and development of the Tucson, Arizona region.
