1944-2008 (Bulk 1977-1994). The Dennis DeConcini Papers document his career in public
service beginning with his election as Pima County Attorney through his tenure as a United
States Senator. The collection is organized into 4 subgroups with 18 series with the bulk of
the collection found in the Legislative Committee Files. The collection contains
correspondence, subject files, legislative committee files, voting records, photographs,
audiovisual materials and objects.

This collection is organized into two subgroups: personal and
family papers from 1868 to 1927, most of which date from the late 1880s, and
business records from the late 1880s to 1925. Most of the personal and family
papers consist of clippings and invitations relating to the Deftys' musical
interests, but also include a few family photographs and two
diaries.
